Hi, I am Brigid Yates.

My passion for photography started in a dark room in high school. I took all of the film knowledge and incorporated it digitally when my mom started working for a local studio when I was in the 9th grade. I was obsessed with Allie Sipe. She was always pushing the limits and making people feel happy with the memories we capture during the sessions. I am addicted to the experience of photography as a whole.

When you book me for your event... you get an extra mom, event planner, dress holder, wardrobe assistance and quite possibly even a therapist. I live and love the images that I am able to produce with my clientele. It is CRITICAL to me to involve what I used to think was an "obsession" but was corrected as a friend as a "passion" that radiates through my work and experience.

As I continue to grow my brand of B Yates Photography, I create new family members with my clients. I thrive on growing with their families and when I go, everyone thinks of it as hanging out with the extension of their family. We play, we sing and act silly. Talking about farts with your 6 year old during a family session... or your husband during your couples boudoir session... ALWAYS sparks genuine laughter and I am here for all of that.
